Personal Description:
I am a recent music graduate from Edinburgh Napier where I studied piano under Simon Coverdale. I love teaching and find helping others greatly rewarding. Aside from teaching, I currently have projects in composing music for film, playing in ensembles and singing.
Tutoring Experience:
I am a piano teacher at Morningside School of Music and have 6 years experience teaching piano to children and adults both in person and online.
From 2019-20 I worked with young people aged 5-15 as an assistant music teacher at the Edinburgh Young Musicians music school.
Tutoring Approach:
My primary aim in teaching is to allow students to enjoy music and learning. In my piano teaching, I adapt to individuals learning needs and interests and this has been very successful in creating positive student experiences. I have a holistic approach to lessons, which involve using a range of creative activities to enhance learning in a fun way.
