Personal Description:

I am an experienced guitar teacher, player, songwriter and performer, with a 1st in BMus Popular Music from Goldsmiths University of London. I can teach a range of styles, from folk, to classical, to jazz, rock and alternative, pop, punk, and can cater to a range of needs, whether you’re starting grades, want to learn to read music, understand scales/music theory, or want to just learn songs (or how to write them yourself). I am also a signed professional musician, recording artist and songwriter, and can help foster an enthusiasm for musical performance and creation, should the student wish.

Tutoring Experience:

I've 6 years worth of experience teaching a range of ages and abilities, both privately and for Eric Lindsey guitars limited.

Tutoring Approach:

I approach the lessons to cater to the student's desires, maybe you are aiming to complete grades, or maybe you want to develop your playing, be that finger-picking, composition and songwriting, improvisation, perhaps you want to get better at scales and harmony, or maybe you just want to learn some basic chords and songs - I have experience covering all these, and will shape the lessons to fit your needs. I would say that the thing I personally enjoy most about playing guitar is being creative with it. I would hope to pass on this enthusiasm, and want my students to be excited about playing the guitar, and to develop an approach and style unique to them whilst having fun doing so.
