Personal Description:

I’m a 25 year old musician, with the oboe being my primary instrument. I graduated last year from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I was on the Orchestral Artistry Marsters course and passed with Distinction. Since graduating, I won a place on the Southbank Sinfonia fellowship and have been a member of this since October 2023. With Southbank Sinfonia, I have performed many wonderful concerts across London such as St John’s Smith Square, St John’s Waterloo and other venues across the UK. I have a passion for performing and love exploring a vast variety of musical genres and styles, with a heavy influence on classical music.

Tutoring Experience:

Hillingdon Music Service: May 2023-September 2023
Teaching 5 students ranging from levels grade 2 to 8.

Bruce Music: October 2023-present
Teaching 1 student level grade 5

Tutoring Approach:

I am an approachable, enthusiastic individual who always has a positive outlook and loves to encourage others. I have always been a team player and strive to work well in groups and in a 1 to 1 setting. I consider myself an empathetic person, with very a strong focus on musicality as well as technique during lessons. I enjoy being able to iron out weaker areas in one’s playing, whilst maintaining an encouraging and supportive demeanour for the student. I am passionate about music and love being able to share this with others, hoping to inspire them.
