Personal Description:
I'm a professional musician who specialises in flute, general woodwinds and music theory. I have my Bachelors degree in Music Performance (Flute) from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music. I'm very outgoing and love working with new students :)
I have taught both privately and in schools for nearly 10 years. I have a variety of experience which includes working with primary and secondary school children, adults and those with special education needs.
I love to venture outside of the classical box - recent performance highlights have included gigging with 'The Reel Folks' folk band and recording music for film and TV for composer Thomas Hewitt Jones.
Tutoring Experience:
I am based in and around Bromley and offer 45 and 60 minute lessons.
I’m available to teach Flute from beginner to Grade 8 and ARSM Diploma level and general woodwind and music theory up to Grade 5. I am happy to travel to you. My rates are £45 (hour) and £35 (45 mins).
Outside 1-1 tuition I currently work as a Licensed Flute Teacher for BYMT and deliver whole class music curriculum and ensemble coaching for Bromley borough.
Tutoring Approach:
I deliver tailored flute lessons - whether you are wanting to play for fun, work towards an exam, prepare for a performance (or do all 3!), I can plan the lessons to suit you. My lessons also include learning basic theory knowledge to develop musicianship skills and also everyone's favourite - duets!
