Personal Description:
I would like to introduce myself and show you all the experience I have playing music professionally, in the hope you will be interested in having me play for your company at your events. I play different styles of music from Classical to Vintage, Pop, Metal and I continuously add new music to my repertoire, catering to your requests.
I offer live music for different occasions and public events. I also do concerts in schools with explanations and demonstrations of several musical styles and musical diversities.
Tutoring Experience:
It has been a pleasure to teach the violin and viola for a decade. There is nothing more important than sharing my passion for music by teaching the next generation of musicians. I cater to individual needs, making lessons fun and challenging. All ages and all standards are welcome!
What I teach
Here in Mid Sussex I give individual instrumental lessons on the Piano, Violin and Viola both online and face to face.
I tutor students in written and musicianship skills such as music theory, aural, sight-reading, practical musicianship and academic music.
I teach the Piano, Violin and Viola from beginner to advanced levels and all aspects of academic music to GCSE, A Level and beyond, as well as Common Entrance auditions.
If you would like to study music theory, aural, sight reading, composition, practical or general musicianship, you can learn individually with me, or join together with friends to make a small study group of up to four people.
I can also support any academic music studies you may be taking at school or college.
My Qualifications
I have a BMus hons degree from the Royal College of Music, a Masters of performance degree from the Royal Academy of Music and was winner of the 2015 Viola competition at the Royal College of Music.
Tutoring Approach:
I teach all adults and children from around age four, but it is never too late to learn - my oldest student to date was 60 years old.
Introducing children to music and teaching an instrument using Kinder Music and Suzuki methods is extremely rewarding and I have many years experience of teaching the very young.
My experience helps students to grow as musicians and to prepare for performance and academic music exams, but I also take great pleasure in teaching people who prefer to learn for sheer joy, without examination pressure.
