Information About Lise - Highbury teacher

Personal Description:

I am a Belgian Harpist based in Oxford. I graduated with Magna Laude from my Bachelor’s Degree in the LUCA School of Arts in Leuven, Belgium and Distinction from my Master’s Degree at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London. Upon Graduation, I completed a two-year Fellowship at the Guildhall.

I worked as a full-time harp teacher at Harp Music Hong Kong for one year. I have been teaching privately for six years, in Belgium and in the UK. I participated successfully in national and international competitions. In 2019-2020, I won the First Prize at The 5th International Harp Competition in Slovenia, the Second Prize at the Fifth International Harp Competition in Hungary and the Second Prize at the North London Harp Competition 2020. I was awarded the Guildhall Harp Prize, was selected to be a Live Music Now musician, and I was awarded a place as a UKHA Emerging Artist.
I am fluent in English, French and Dutch. I am experienced in working with children and adults, and I welcome students at all levels and ages.
