Information About Lisa - Sutton Coldfield teacher

Personal Description:

I'm Lisa and i provide a lovely warm environment for piano lessons from my piano studio in my home in Boldmere, Sutton Coldfield! I am passionate about playing the piano and I really believe i instil this passion into my pupils!
I have played piano since a young age and am classically trained with a performance diploma from Trinity College London. I have also obtained the Cert PTC from The Piano Teachers' Course UK.

Tutoring Experience:

I teach classical piano and theory from beginner and beyond. My pupils range in age from 6 to 70+ years old and i really believe it is never too late to start to learn to play the piano!
I enter pupils into ABRSM and LCM exams, both face to face and recorded exams and have had several pupils invited to ABRSM High Scorer's Concerts.
I also enter pupils into local music festivals in Birmingham and the surrounding areas and have had multiple winners both in the solo and duet categories.
I also hold annual concerts where pupils can showcase their talents!

Tutoring Approach:

My teaching approach is relaxed and I like my pupils to enjoy playing the piano and develop their own love for music. That said, I also expect a certain level of weekly practice!! Pupils can enter exams, music festivals and play in my concerts if they wish or we can simply play piano together. We can work out our path together as we go on our piano journey.
