Personal Description:

I'm a friendly, patient, understanding, engaging, experienced music teacher in Devon, specialising in bass guitar, double bass, electric & acoustic guitar, improvisation and music theory.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching privately, in person and online remotely, since graduating from Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in 2017. Here, I also assisted the running of the Jazz department of RWCMD’s Junior Conservatoire programme, leading group sessions and accompanying the students in classes and performances. Linus teaches bass guitar, music theory, double bass and guitar as well as sight-reading, songwriting, Logic Pro X and career guidance, teaching all ages and abilities and specialises in Rock, Pop and Jazz. I have an up to date DBS certificate.

Tutoring Approach:

I tailor lessons to the students' specific aspirations. I like to keep lessons fun and informative, learning to play the students' favourite style of music alongside developing a deep understanding of music theory. Lessons are available to all ages and abilities.
