Personal Description:

Do you really want to know me? Then come and meet me. All you need to know about me is that I love and am very passionate about my teaching.
I love watching students come to me, Adults mostly retired that have never looked at music or played an instrument or even dared to dream that they could play one. They come into the studio with no confidence and leave walking on cloud 9, as they have done in, they have finally played a saxophone. From there it only gets better and better.
I love watching them get their first notes out and the excitement when they play there first song, they dont believe it when I say in a few months you will be playing songs along with backing tracks.
I get as much out of teaching as I hope they get out of learning from me. Each lessons is like a new lesson to me. I just never tire of watching people grow with renewed confidence.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been a saxophone teacher for nearly 18 years. I primarily teach Adult Saxophone Groups.
I am also available to teach one to one saxophone lessons to both children or adults.
Sharing my Passion
I am a strong believer that everyone should be able to have a life of music. That's why I started the adult saxophone groups, there's nothing better then watching someone learn to play whether they are 11 or 83 years old and yes my oldest was 83 when he started.love teaching.

Tutoring Approach:

I offer both group and priva**Contact Detail Removed**ssons, separated by skill level. If you're unsure about which level is appropriate for you, then come along and talk to me. There are various levels and you are not committed to staying in one class if you outgrow it. Studio is based in Havant with new site opening in Shedfield, Nr Botley in March to cover Fareham, Southampton and surrounding areas.
That being said I also have students that travel 45-70 minutes to come to my groups. When asked why they didn't find a Saxophone teacher nearer to them, their reply is it would never be as much fun!!!
