Personal Description:
Since graduating from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and laterally the Royal College of Music, I have been working as a freelance musician, performing across the UK and internationally. I have played in numerous shows in London (prior to the pandemic I was playing in The Boyfriend at the Menier Theatre) and with many orchestras including the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Scottish Chamber Orchestra and Scottish Opera, with whom I went on a tour to Australia. I can play and teach a wide variety of styles including classical, jazz, pop and rock guitar. I also teach the ukelele and banjo. I have a great amount of teaching experience including on the popular music short courses at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and teaching children of all ages at Hamilton College. Prior to moving to London, I held a teaching position at St. Andrews University.
