Personal Description:
I am a clarinettist and composer, living in Salisbury, wor in the UK and abroad. I am an Oxford postgraduate with a BA in Music (2021), a Masters in Composition and a DipARSM in Clarinet Performance. My work includes compositional projects and commissions, recitals, and teaching.
As a composer, my work has been performed by internationally acclaimed ensembles. As a clarinettist with extensive performing experience, I enjoy giving recitals at varied venues.
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught the clarinet since 2017, initially based in Surrey and Oxford. Since moving to the Salisbury area in 2022 I have established a growing array of clarinet students, who I enjoy building a rapport with and helping to progress. I teach children and adults, across varied abilities and styles, including jazz and classical syllabuses.
As an established composer and musical collaborator, I also offer tuition from this perspective.
Tutoring Approach:
I enjoy teaching all ages and abilities, whether wor towards exams or for personal goals. I currently teach students in their own homes and am happy to cover a reasonable radius. I take pride in offering a creative, patient and enthusiastic approach.
