Personal Description:

I am a classically trained pianist with a BA Hons Degree in Music and Music Technology. I am an experienced performing musician having played in function bands providing evening entertainment for weddings and corporate events. I teach piano to a variety of ages from my home, covering classic and popular styles of music. I am a friendly, approachable and enthusiastic teacher welcoming all ages and abilities.

Tutoring Experience:

I currently teach students from age 5-40 years on a 1:1 basis. I am also experienced in delivering music sessions to a group of disabled young adults with learning disabilities.

Tutoring Approach:

I find out the aims of each student and tailor the lessons to suit them. Whether it's learning for fun or working through piano grades, I am adaptable and work to a high standard to help students achieve their goals.
I encourage students to ask questions as I find it important for them to feel comfortable and understand what they are learning.
I think learning should be fun and I am passionate about inspiring people to reach their full potential and find enjoyment through music.
