Information About Lauren - Congleton teacher - (1 review)
This is how 2 referees rated Lauren:
I love music and I love teaching. I want to share my passion and love for music with people of all ages. I can teach from beginners and take students through grades while teaching theory along side or people who just want to play and learn for fun.
I have taught in a mainstream secondary school for the last five and a half years with one year of that being head of the Music department. I recently left (Dec 2020) to pursue my real passion which is teaching lessons one to one.
A graduate from Keele University (Staffordshire) with a 2:1 BA HONS duel honours of Music and English Literature
Taken all performance aspects of degree on principle instrument of cello
Grade 8+ ABRSM Cello and Piano, Grade 7 standard on flute (I would only teach up to grade 5).
Grade 6 ABRSM theory (exam taken).
In addition before going to university I have conducted orchestras and taught in small groups.
I have recently completed my training to become a fully qualified teacher of music at high school level.
I charge £15 for 30 mins and £25 per hour due to having back to back students I would not be able to travel to you.
I like to get to know the student and the parents to find out what they want from instrumental lessons and what they want to achieve personally that day and future goals.
Lessons are currently not taking place in person in accordance with the guidance from the government so I am currently using zoom to complete lessons.

Both yourself and Daniel have been extremely friendly and welcoming. Daniel is a delight to teach who listens and explains music very well and I look forward to continuing helping him read and play the piano.
