Personal Description:
I am a flute teacher working across the north-east of England with students of varied ages and abilities. I play flute and piccolo for Sunderland Symphony Orchestra and perform regularly with them. I enjoy arranging pieces for flute ensembles, having recently arranged two first world war songs for flute quartet which were performed at a remembrance concert.
I possess ABRSM Grade 8 flute (dist) and ABRSM Grade 8 singing (dist)
Tutoring Experience:
I teach flute at Seaham Music Academy and St Andrew's Kirk (Sandyford Road, Newcastle). I have experience of preparing and entering students for examinations. Lessons may be of varied lengths (45 mins - £20; 60 mins - £25). I also teach music in primary schools across Durham and Sunderland.
Tutoring Approach:
I teach Grades 1- 8 should you wish to enter grade examinations, start with basics, and move at a pace that suits you.
