Personal Description:

Krystof is a professional violinist who has performed throughout the UK and Europe including at prestigious venues such as Barbican Hall, King's Place, Musikverein Vienna and Konzerthaus Berlin. He graduated with distinction from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where he was supported by a full scholarship.

Born in Pilsen, Czech Republic, he started playing the violin at the age of 5. At the age of 16 he won the Whitgift International Music Competition and was awarded a full scholarship to study at Whitgift School in London and Junior Guildhall. Aside from his formal studies, he has benefitted from masterclasses with distinguished musicians such as Midori, Leonidas Kavakos, Anne-Sophie Mutter, Pierre Amoyal, Josef Špaček, Gerhard Schulz and Gyorgy Pauk and attended international courses including the Kronberg Violin Masterclasses, Weimar Masterclasses and the Meadowmount School of Music.

Kryštof is a founding member of the Fibonacci Quartet, a London-based string quartet with whom he has recently won the Royal Over-Seas League Competition. The quartet regularly appears at festivals in the UK, Netherlands, Belgium and France and will soon make their debut at Wigmore Hall.

He also regularly broadcasts on the Czech Radio and BBC Radio 3, most recently playing the George Walker Violin Sonata no. 1 at Milton Court Concert Hall as part of BBC Total Immersion. He has also been featured on the Dutch **Contact Detail Removed**vision show Podium Witteman.

Tutoring Experience:

Based in London and teaching since 2017 both in the UK and Czech Republic. Experienced in working with both beginners and advanced students of all ages.

Tutoring Approach:

- taking elements from a range of teaching techniques and methods including Suzuki, Kodaly etc.
