Personal Description:

I am a multi-reed player capable of playing Clarinet and Saxophones. My favourite kind of music is jazz. However, most of my experience with clarinet is playing classical music. I can offer some help with preparing ABRSM exams up to Grade 8 as I have experience of taking those exams. However, I can give advice for the Trinity exams up to Grade 8 (regardless of classical or jazz) too.

Of course, those who are not planning to take exams and simply want to learn how to play instruments are also welcome. I can be flexible with the teaching materials (the music pieces) used in the lesson, so the student can learn whichever music that they want to master.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a private tuition (one to one) experience for the past few years.

Tutoring Approach:

I want to teach students how to be well motivated as a player while practicing and learning different techniques and pieces. I believe it is very important to let my students know that the clarinet can be used in many genres of music. It may help students to easily find their favourite kind of piece that motivates them to learn further about clarinet.
