I am a professional musician and drum kit tutor with over 20 years experience performing, recording and teaching students of all ages and abilities. I have a keen interest in all areas of music and enjoy passing on my experience and enthusiasm for the subject to others. As well as extensive teaching experience - I have toured as a professional musician and have worked at a music promotions company and professional recording studio. As a teacher I am very good at bringing out the best in my students and boosting confidence. I have a 100% pass rate for examinations up to Grade 6 and have successfully prepared students for music scholarships. Music and performing are my passion and I strive to uplift and inspire others to discover the joy and satisfaction that music can bring.

Tutoring Approach:

I predominantly teach from the Rockschool Syllabus and have 100% pass rate up to Grade 6 - exams are optional but I do believe having clear goals, defined between tutor and pupil helps to maintain interest and progress. Online and in person lessons available from September 2021. Rates shown are for hour lessons - half hour lessons are available for £22.
