Personal Description:
Kerry graduated in violin and electronic music from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and has since had a varied artistic career. She is a classically trained musician, and a sonic and community artist. Her notable projects include large-scale music education programmes for young people in west London. Her most recent projects were solo violin for BBC Radio 4 Drama "The Jester Of Astapovo" and Composer and Artist for Orleans Gallery in Richmond for a 3D Sound Installation.
Tutoring Experience:
Kerry has been a violin teacher for the past 15 years with experience of teaching both private and school pupils across London up to Grade 8 level and above. She specialises in teaching electronic and studio music, particularly songwriting and sequencing in Logic Pro, and has worked in many London schools as a GCSE music composition tutor.
Tutoring Approach:
Kerry has friendly and encouraging approach to lessons and promotes free thinking and improvisation in each session.
