Personal Description:

Get advice from a professional pianist, just from £10. PhD holder. MPerf (Dist.) and BMus (1st Hons) from the Royal College of Music. DBS (Enhanced) checked. Grand piano is used.

- PhD from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music (supported by a music foundation award)
- MPerf with Distinction from the Royal College of Music (supported by a full scholarship)
- BMus with First Class Honours from the Royal College of Music (supported by a full scholarship)

- ABRSM International Scholarship holder
- First Class and Distinction marks for advanced academic and major subjects including Practical Musicianship, Orchestration, Aural, Professional Skills, Historical Performance and Chamber Music.
- Soloist debut is at the age of 8. Jun has presented solo recitals and performances with orchestras across Europe and Japan including in the UK, France, Spain, Germany, Italy and Russia.
She has won numerous prizes at prestigious international competitions, and major prizes at the Royal College of Music.

Send your video (or audio) recording of your piano performance.
You will get a brief comment and advice by email text from a professional pianist.
Recordings can be sent via Skype message, Dropbox link or YouTube's unlisted visibility.

10 pounds per recording
*If your recording exceeds 5 minutes, there will be an additional fee.

You can send any performance at any levels/stages.
- The piece you have just started learning, playing up to the middle of the piece, very short piece or playing hands separately.
- Recordings for auditions (for school entries, scholarships, competitions).
- Recordings for Grade exams (such as ABRSM Performance Grades, Trinity Digital Grades and MTB exams).

I teach the following subjects.
- Piano
- Sight-reading skills
- Aural skills
- Music Theory
- Preparation for all grade exams including ABRSM, Trinity and MTB
- Preparation for auditions, concerts, music festivals and competitions
- Chamber Music

[Lesson fees]
Trial lesson is £28 pounds for an hour.
(Please note that it is not 50% off as stated on the website but 41% off)

£24 for half an hour
£36 for 45 minutes
£48 for an hour

* Each piano lesson includes Music Theory and Aural teaching in addition to piano performance lesson.
(If you would prefer, it is also possible to have just performance lessons without music theory etc.)
* Yamaha Grand Piano is used for lessons.
* No need to sign up or install an app for online lessons.
Any devices can be used to access (including Windows, Mac, laptop, tablet, smartphone, iOS and Android etc.).
* Short term intensive lessons are also available.

The success of my pupils include:
- Special award for the highest mark in the nation in ABRSM Grade 7 exam.
- 1st Prizes and various awards at music competitions.
- Initially came to me with a Pass at ABRSM grade 1 and 2 and went on to achieve ABRSM grade 3 and 5 with Distinction.
- Initially came to me with a Pass at TCL grade 5 and went on to achieve TCL grade 6 and 7 with Distinction.

I have been teaching all ages from 3-year-olds to secondary school, sixth form and university students, and adults.
I have extended knowledge and experience in teaching pupils of all levels and abilities such as:

- Playing the piano as a hobby
- Preparing for grade exams, GCSE/A level exams, auditions, competitions and concerts
- Complete beginners to advanced pianists
- Pupils with SEND
- Aiming at professionals

Tutoring Approach:

I would like to help you to be able to create your piano sound with lots of colours, explore the music and to express your own feelings on the keyboard. I am sure that it will be possible even for the very beginners with simple melodies.

I also help you to build up good techniques so that your hands will not suffer from pain or boring finger exercises!
I suggest various tips for practicing efficiently and exercises to develop your musical awareness and how to analyse each composer’s music along with effective ways of using your bodies, arms.
