Personal Description:
I am an experienced teacher and enjoy teaching all standards of players. I have attended the Guildhall School of Music as a singer, but also played brass which has taken preference over singing.
I love teaching brass and have an enthusiasm for all types of music from baroque to rock.
I am married with 2 children and live on the Sussex, Surrey, Kent borders area. I play in various musical organisations and am involved with a Youth Brass Band.
Tutoring Experience:
I have 7 years teaching experience, and during that time have had many sucesses with pupils going on to further their musical knowledge in Catherdal Choirs, The Purcell School,&The Royal Academy of Music. I also teach pupils who just want to have fun, as well as training them for Music Grades.
Tutoring Approach:
I aim to ascertain what the person wants to gain from their learning and tailor the lassons accordingly. I have many older pupils who just want to learn a new skill, so the approach tends to fit the aspirations of the pupil
