Information About Joy - Hampton teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Joy:
I am a cellist and composer with an international career as a performer and a passion for educating musicians of all ages. I completed my undergraduate and graduate studies at Cambridge University where I specialised in Composition while regularly performing as a soloist in concert halls across Europe.
I have been teaching cellist form age five upwards for the past eight years, supporting my students through the Graded examinations for which they have achieved an 100% Distinction rate. I teach on residential courses at Hindhead Music Centre for cellists up to age eleven and have also appeared three times as a guest performer on the London Cello Society-endorsed summer course run by William Bruce.
I believe in encouraging every child to achieve their potential. Whether they wish to enjoy playing their instrument through their school and university years and beyond, or decide to make a career in music I have experience at every level.
