Hi! My name is Joe and I am a professional guitarist based in Birmingham, U.K. I have played live extensively, toured overseas with my heavy metal band and recorded in a professional studio environment on multiple occasions. I also hold a BA(hons) in Professional Musicianship from BIMM University Birmingham with a speciality in modern rock and heavy metal music.
Tutoring Experience:
In the short time that I have been teaching, I have helped several students from age 11 right through to advanced adult students improve their playing week by week. Having recently graduated, I have a fresh approach to teaching and aim to get the most out of each and every student by tailoring the lesson to the student's needs.

I firmly believe that the most important quality in a teacher is helping students to develop their own unique musical identity. I aim to accomplish this by teaching a range of skills including technical playing, music theory, compositional analysis and songwriting.
I'm happy to teach anything and I will always endeavour to tailor the lesson to your unique needs, however I specialise in modern rock and heavy metal guitar so if you're a metalhead then i'm absolutely the tutor for you!
