Information About Jordan - Barnet teacher

Personal Description:

I am a friendly, encouraging piano teacher from London and have been teaching for over 10 years to both children and adults. I have a BA Hons. degree in Music and am classically trained. In our lessons you can learn both technique and theory plus classical and contemporary music.

You can choose from my online lessons or a 10 week online course, which can both be enjoyed from your home.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching for over 10 years as a private piano teacher to all ages and abilities including complete beginners, experienced and casual players.

I have taught in schools as a music teacher to primary school aged students and have also hosted workshops in both UK and Europe.

My BA. Hons in Music included the module : Musician in the Community and my dissertation was about community arts projects and cultural diversity.

Tutoring Approach:

My main goal as a teacher is to instil an effective practice regime, so that my students are eventually able to learn new pieces alone.

I love to make my lessons fun and enjoyable, whilst pushing my students to sit outside of their comfort zone by including pedagogically more challenging tunes.
