Personal Description:

I play Guitar, Piano, Bass Guitar, Drums and Sing. I have been a session musician for numerous artists which has included appearances on TV/ RADIO at the BBC and international stations. I have played since a young age, teaching myself. I then studied Music at college and went on to study Popular Music at Newcastle University. Then moved to London to study songwriting. I have written and released my own songs under various management companies and am now wanting to teach music and share my skills with other people.

Tutoring Experience:

I enjoy teaching popular and contemporary styles in Guitar, Piano, Bass, Drums and Voice. I also love teaching songwriting. We can also learn your favourite song(s) on the desired instrument. I always speak a little bit about Music Theory as I feel it really helps with playing and I am happy to teach more about this.

I have experience teaching neurodiverse students. I am always happy to talk about lesson requirements and how to make the students comfortable/ get the most out of lessons.

Tutoring Approach:

I have an engaging and interactive approach to teaching. I am always prepared with lesson plans and understand how to progress students to get better at their craft. I set listening & practicing assignments to help the students progress outside of lesson times. Most importantly, I try my best to share my passion for Music and hope this stays with my students forever.
