I thoroughly enjoy playing and teaching music. I myself learn best in positive environments where challenges can be undertaken and new skills learnt.

I've seen a variety of personalities and ways by which people approach learning a new skill and even as they attempt to unlearn techniques.

Tutoring Approach:

I have learnt a lot from studying grades and most of my technical ability comes from this discipline - I would therefore always propose it to those wishing to learn more. However, the opportunity to perform really raises the student from just doing exams to master a piece comfortably and create the conditions so that they consider themselves pianists.
