Personal Description:

**Experienced in delivering Zoom/Skype Lessons** A classically trained musician and piano tutor based in South East London (SE13), I offer piano lessons for children and adults of varying ability at an affordable price. Current pricing is for online tuition.

Tutoring Experience:

I have over 6 years of experience in teaching piano to students of varying age and ability from complete beginners to advanced.

I have worked at the Royal Academy of Dance as a pianist since 2011, providing music for a number of ballet classes on a regular basis.

My other teaching experience includes leading drama workshops for artists, students and children with a theatre company of which I am a founding member.

Tutoring Approach:

I beleive in giving each student a good grounding in the key skills of musiciansip including reading music and music theorey, as an intergral part of learning to play. However, as an artist, I take a creative, fun approach to teaching and tailor lessons to the particular needs of each student.

From Alexandra (5/5): Jonathan is an excellent piano player and a great teacher. I started as a complete beginner and he has been teaching me for over 2 years. He's always helpful and flexible. He gives me lots of useful tips when I struggle with a piece and is super patient. During the pandemic he held the lessons remotely and this worked really well. I'm really grateful for his guidance in learning to play the piano and can highly recommend him.
