Information About Jonathan - Wigston teacher
I started playing bass at 10 and started gigging in Leicester at 14.
I'm a happy person and an experienced musician. I love all aspects of music including practicle playing, Improvisation, Music Theory and Compostition.
I studied music for two years at Leicester Collegeand passed my course with Distinction (RSL Level 3 Combined Diploma for Music Practitioners)
On the course I started supporting a group of level 1 students and did some individual lessons as well.
I have a very open mind when it comes to teaching.
I start by constructing a learning plan based on a discussion I have with the student.
I want teaching to be fun, and that doesn't mean messing around all the time, it just means that I will adapt to what students particularly enjoy and try to put potentially boring subjects accross in a way that clicks with the student, i.e. if I'm trying to teach theory and the student just wants to play funk tunes, I will look for funk tunes that contain the theory that I was trying to teach.
