Professional percussionist with 30 years experience of world percussion. Specialised in Indian Tabla, trained in India & UK. Also play & teach Arabic & West African drumming, Indian vocal percussion & West African Kashaka.

Tutoring Experience:
20+ years teaching experience. Associate Lecturer in World Music / Ethnomusicology at University of Plymouth 2003-2017. Offering 1 to 1 tuition, group tuition & workshops for schools, colleges & universities.
Currently providing weekly instrumental tuition & class tuition at schools in Stroud, Gloucestershire & surrounding area and weekly tabla classes in Swindon, Wiltshire.
Have provided workshops at schools, colleges & universities across the UK & at festivals such as WOMAD, Larmer Tree, Drum Camp, Musicport, Tribe of Doris, Wychwood Festival.
I continued teaching 1:1 lessons & group classes online between March 2020 - Sept 2021 during the Covid 19 pandemic. Lessons and classes are now back in-person.
