Personal Description:

I'm a professional piano teacher, performer and composer. I am a former head of a Music Department in Edinburgh (15 years) and have been playing piano all my life! I have written 2 musicals, had several books published and produced 3 albums with my band (John Band). I love improvising at the piano-and this is what my teaching is now all about-getting you to play from scratch and be able to create your own music-or play tunes you love! You can be a piano player already-or have no musical knowledge whatsoever and I will get you improvising!
