Information About Joanna - Hampstead teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Joanna:
My name is Joanna, and I began playing the cello at the age of 8. I made my debut as a soloist performing Goltermann’s Cello Concerto in G-major at the age of 12 and since that time I had appeared in concerts and festivals around the world as a concerto soloist, recitalist and chamber musician.
Since 2015 I am a cellist in the Bukolika Piano Trio with whom I enjoyed several important international successes. I studied with Christoph Richter at Academy of Music, (supported by a scholarship from the Clumber Studio). I completed my PhD degree in January 2020. Currently I am an assistant teacher at the Academy of Music Krakow and Artistic Director of London Chamber International.

I am qualified teacher, I am currently an assistant teacher at the Music Academy. I have been a private tutor for about 8 years.
The aim of my teaching on a beginner level, for all the music subjects I offer, is to evoke the joy of music-making, and throughout the lessons I will incorporate a solid technique that will enable you or your child to progress swiftly and in a correct way.
For more advanced students I will focus the teaching around perfecting technique and exploring the repertoire of the cello.
I also incorporate basic knowledge of music theory and music history in my teaching because I believe strongly in a comprehensive musical education.
