I started singing and performing at a young age, starting my professional career at the tender age of 10 when I joined the “Children’s Choir” in the Andrew Lloyd Webber & Tim Rice musical Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, performing at Leeds Grand Theatre and Bradford Alhambra.
I studied Musical Theatre at the prestigious conservatoire, Leeds College of Music followed by The Arden School of Theatre in Manchester, graduating with a First Class BA (Hons) Degree in Musical Theatre Performance.
I have enjoyed a varied career performing in a variety of Musicals and Review shows at Theatres and large scale events throughout the UK, including Park Holidays UK, Millennium & Copthorne Hotel Cardiff, LGBT Mardi Gras Cardiff, CentreParcs UK, Theatre Royal Paignton & Her Majesty's Theatre, London.
In 2012, I joined my first Cruise ship as Lead Vocalist & since then have gone on to perform on board some of the most luxurious ships in the world, including SAGA, Seabourn & Holland America Line.
In 2016, I was chosen to join the original cast of Disneyland Paris' brand new production 'Forest of Enchantment' as the lead role of the Storyteller "Enchantella" performing throughout the Spring.
In the last few years I have performed at Corporate Events, Charity Functions & Private Parties throughout the UK, including Armed Forces Day & Ladies Night in aid of Breast Cancer Care. I was also one of the Female Vocalists with "Made In Motown" - a tribute to the sounds of the Motor City and Agnetha in the Number 1 ABBA tribute group - Abba Forever. I returned to sea in 2018 as Lead Vocalist with The Band on board the Seabourn Sojourn then stepped up to Assistant Cruise Director on board Seabourn Quest, Encore and Sojourn.
I currently reside in Castleford, where I am a Freelance Female Vocalist as well as a Singing Teacher. I would like to use my experience and knowledge to help others in their singing and performance. I am a fun, friendly person and lessons with me are always aimed at being enjoyable as well as educational. I look forward to meeting you.
On many occasions I have been Vocal Coach and Coach whilst on tour with a show. I have also lead small choirs and helped people with audition prep and performance technique.
I have recently completed the BAST 20-hour teacher training course.
It is important to me to work with the individual and hear what it is they would like to work on and learn about, as well as passing on my skills and helping them to progress as a confident singer and performer.
I pride myself on helping students learn correct breathing techniques, phrasing, harmonies and performance.
I like to create a fun, friendly atmosphere as singing should not be a chore!
