Personal Description:

Experienced and friendly cello teacher available to take on learners of all ages and stages, offering weekly lessons with a flexible timetable. Lessons can be purely for fun or to prepare for an audition, exam, or concert. I am empathetic, and available to adapt to my students individual needs to maximise potential and enjoyment. Available for peripatetic teaching (I go to you) in and around North London, or online via Zoom from anywhere. I am a professional cellist currently a member of the Southbank Sinfonia.

Tutoring Approach:

Able to help students prepare for ABRSM grade exams.
I use material from Suzuki cello books and Cello Time Joggers/Runners amongst others (I am always happy to find new repertoire), but also believe that improvising -whether in a group or solo- is one of the most important skills a young musician can have. My priority is to create a personalised learning plan for my students, that is enjoyable, rewarding, and informative.
