Personal Description:

I am a recent Music Industry Practice graduate with a 2:1 BA (Hons) Degree. Having studied under a prominent figure in the industry, Giorgio Serci (who has played for Jools Holland and many more), I am able to deliver lessons in Music Theory, Guitar Technique and Songwriting. Iā€™m a qualified and passionate musician, with over three years of experience in recording and live performance. I have also worked in a guitar shop on Denmark Street for a number of years, developing a thorough understanding of instruments and musical equipment, as well as delivering a high level of customer care.

Tutoring Experience:

I am an experienced tutor having worked with learners from a number of different backgrounds and abilities. When the pandemic hit I moved into online tuition and now specialise in that method, although face to face will be part of my tuition when restrictions allow.

Tutoring Approach:

I put the learner at the centre of how I teach. I also go at the speed which suits you. I have a very specific method of teaching which covers the basics, technique as well as music theory while we learn. I have a website which covers music theory and quick reference guides in case you have questions in between lessons. I am building a video library of guitar chords so you can quickly see how to play specific things without having to wait for each lesson to come around. I believe in a multi platform approach which gives you the tools to get playing AND understating rather than just playing some chords.
