Information About James - West Malling teacher

Personal Description:

I play and teach mainly electric guitar and in the styles of rock and metal. My favourite genre is classic rock/metal, especially mid 80s which is where I get my own style of playing from. My favourite bands include Iron Maiden, ACDC, Metallica and Ghost.

Tutoring Experience:

I started teaching guitar pre-covid, however due to covid restrictions this meant switching to online teaching over video call.

Tutoring Approach:

I have a fun and enjoyable teaching system for all students. For beginners we start slow with specialised finger and picking techniques along with low level songs to learn, and for intermediate to more advanced students we move to higher grade solo and rhythm techniques along with song writing to allow students to gain experience in building song structures using acquired skills and techniques.
