Information About Hugues - Manchester teacher

Personal Description:

I am a teacher and freelance flute player currently based in South Manchester. During my time studying at the Royal Northern College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music, I had the privilege of receiving lessons and masterclasses from some of the UK and the world's most highly respected flute players, such as William Bennett, Emily Beynon, and Paul Edmund-Davies. As a professional player, my experience includes work with the Royal Opera House, Hallé, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, RTÉ Concert Orchestra, and Northern Sinfonia, amongst others.

Tutoring Experience:

My teaching experience encompasses students across a wide range of ages and levels, including beginners and adult learners. I also have experience putting students through exams with successful results.

Tutoring Approach:

I try to be flexible in my approach to teaching, and tailor my lessons to the specific needs of each individual student. My focus is on making learning the flute an enjoyable experience, and I aim to help students set learning goals that are achievable and fun, whether it be learning one new note in a lesson or learning repertoire in preparation for an exam.
