Personal Description:

Im a musician in north london working closely with local bands on a variety of live performance projects. my passion for the guitar lead me to study music and teach it to others. I have been playing guitar since 2003 and study it to this day.

Tutoring Experience:

work closely with starts&catz music teaching network since 2010
participate in weekly/monthly jam sessions with local musicians
I have worked in a variety of teaching and performance advise projects which include;
live interactive drama with you me train, performance and teaching 2011
music theory advise and performance with the swagger; indie mod band from north london 2013
live music and drama and composition for matt penmans the greek, the rose theatre 2012

Tutoring Approach:

I approach tuition the same way I received it when learning. that is with fun in mind. most importantly is the student and what they want from the guitar, whether that would be to become a grand master in musical theory I can tend composition techniques, song writing and performance, sometimes those things are irrelevant and you just want to jam your favourite songs in which case using the "music theory tools" we can create chord charts, learn notation and experiment in improvisation to get you where you want to be.
