Personal Description:
I am an enthusiastic and patient teacher with over ten years of experience teaching complete beginners to grade eight standard children and adults. I have a special interest in jazz, improvisation and klezmer music.
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught for Doncaster, Hull and Leeds councils. In schools and music centres. As well as conducting bands.
Tutoring Approach:
I am happy to teach pupils who just want to play for fun or we can work through ABRSM or Trinity examinations and theory too.

HelenFrom Ellen (5/5): Helen is an encouraging and enthusiastic tutor who puts my child at ease so she is not afraid to make mistakes. Lessons are enjoyable and fun and my daughter is making great progress thanks to Helen's guidance.
