Personal Description:
I am an examiner for RGT@LCM (Registry of Guitar Tutors @ London College of Music) and have previously written for Guitar Techniques Magazine. I am an experienced musician and hold an associate diploma from LCM in guitar teaching (ALCM) as well as grade 8 distinctions in electric, acoustic and bass guitar. I teach bass guitar, acoustic, classical and electric guitar, teaching all styles to all ages and abilities. Lessons are taught one to one from a dedicated teaching room in my home. Being a full time musician, daytime, evening, weekend and group lessons are available. I also teach mandolin and ukulele. All exams up to and beyond grade 8 are available. I refund the first tutors fee for my details from first lesson. I regularly teach Skype lessons as well and teach in all English speaking countries. Lessons start at £17 for 30 minutes
Tutoring Experience:
Over 10 years as a full time musician teaching all ages and abilities, RGT qualified teacher (ALCM) and Registry of guitar tutors registered.
DBS checked.
Tutoring Approach:
Lessons are all tailored to the individual, taking examinations is encouraged but not for everybody and the most important element is enjoying playing and learning to be a better player.
I have taught all ages and abilities in a range of styles and i encourage students to ask questions or choose their own styles. Lessons can be 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Longer lessons for advanced students are available upon request. I refund the First Tutors fee from the initial lesson. I also teach guitar teachers wishing to study towards diplomas in guitar teaching or performance diplomas.
