Information About Hannah - Burton-on-Trent teacher

Personal Description:

Since graduating from Birmingham Conservatoire in 2005, Hannah has enjoyed a varied career as a violin and piano teacher, accompanist and freelance violinist. Currently she teaches violin at Denstone College and is strings co-ordinator /piano teacher at Lichfield Cathedral School as well as running a successful teaching practice at home.

As well as running a successful string quartet, her playing career has taken her travelling throughout Europe as part of the touring orchestra for many prestigious artists, including Gloria Estefan, Alfie Boe, Michael Ball, Madness, Dionne Warwick, Il Divo and Katherine Jenkins, performing in venues such as the O2 arena, Albert Hall, Edinburgh Castle and Croke Park.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught in a variety of schools over the past 17 years and have experience of teaching all ages and abilities. I have also run a successful teaching practice from home where I offer tuition on violin, viola, piano and musci theory. I can also offer my services as an accompanist for exams, auditions etc.

Tutoring Approach:

I offer a tailored approach to lessons depending on each students needs and/or requirements. Technique and all round musicianship take centre stage and I ensure each student covers a wide variety of repertoire in order to fully reach their potential.
