Personal Description:

Hi. My name is Emily Han, and I am a professional pianist based in Birmingham.
I I developed my passion for teaching from pedagogy(a compulsory course for all pianists) at Royal Northern College of music , so I have professional trainings about teaching/tutoring and past experiences about teaching. Apart from teaching about ABRSM and Trinity exams, I also teach non exam students with a tailored plan just for your preference and goal! I currently teach piano at both Cheltenham College and Loughborough Schools Foundation.
Besides teaching, I also accompanying people, my chamber music group have won several prizes and I recently just finished working as an accompanist in Brighton College for a year. And I have been playing with numerous instrumentalists around the UK.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching since 2013, my students have achieved high scores in exams with both ABRSM and Trinity exam associations. Currently employed at two boarding school in Cheltenham(Cheltenham College) and Loughborough(Loughborough Schools Foundation).

Tutoring Approach:

I'm friendly yet with high standards of my students, whether they are doing exams or not I always make sure they play at their best in music.
