Information About Gytis - Aberdeen teacher

Personal Description:

I have finished school of arts in Lithuania (both music and art section). I have played in orchestra for 5 years (saxophone), at present I play guitar as I thought to play my self. I have a variety of different artistic abilities that I have developed (many solo concerts, more than 10 different genre plays,many art contests and more than 15 concerts and music projects that I had the opportunity to organise) and I proudly consider my self as the one who knows quite a lot about music (and other arts), organising events and gathering people and other artists to join our concerts in any possible way.

Tutoring Experience:

I have had many students. My first students were my friends but with the time the word about me spreaded so I got more and more people who wanted to be learn to play with my help.

Tutoring Approach:

I do not have formal teaching expert level. But I guess that this is the reason why I got so many students. First of all I am a young person, therefore I am communicating with others as with my close friends. There is no need to feel uncomfortable; music is universal language that's why learning it should be informal. My basic strategy is to know my student and to know the reason why he truly wants to learn - that will be the reason to keep on going. Depending on the need I can teach him/her to read music, to get the basic and intermediate rhythm understanding and to get general knowlegde about music history or just to give enough to be able to play favourite songs with friends or alone. I can not promise to make a music genius form total rookie, but I will ensure to give all that is neccessary to reach what ever my student wants.
