Personal Description:
I am a violinist and singer, my studies and passions encompasses Gypsy, folk and Klezmer music from Eastern Europe and the Balkans. I am the director of the London Gypsy Orchestra and the lead violinist and singer of Tatcho Drom. In the past, I performed numerous concerts and taught one-to-one as well as music workshops and master classes around the country.
I also studied extensively Alexander technique and other holistic methods, and developed my own method of teaching and performance.
Originally from Germany, I studied at the Leopold Mozart Konservatorium and graduated as a classical violinist, later I obtained a postgraduate degree in jazz at the Richard Strauss Konservatorium.
My book 'Gypsy Music Collection', 63 tunes from Eastern Europe and the Balkans + audio CD, was published in 2008 by Spartan Press in different versions for various instruments. I also wrote my own tutorial book 'Violin Tuition with Fun and Feeling', which reflects my holistic teaching method.

Tutoring Approach:
As described above, my approach is holistic. I give much importance to a good foundation, a tidy technique which is in harmony with one's physical specialities. Playing with ease, flowing movements and easing tension will open doors to playing great music in any style.
I genuinely believe everybody can learn the instrument of their dreams; one can overcome all commonly known obstacles with enough dedication and encouragement, which I will give as a teacher.
The most importan**Contact Detail Removed**ment of playing music is the joy and the satisfaction. Sometimes, one needs to go through a slightly difficult time, when learning new skills and working together over difficulties, where regular practice is essential, the ultimate result is always great and magic music making.
