Personal Description:

I am a pianist with more than 7 years teaching experience. During 18 years of playing and performing in different concerts and festivals, various bands and ensembles, I have built a wide range of performancing experience, which I want to share with other music lovers.

Tutoring Experience:

I teach piano and music theory since 2012. My students are from age 4 to adults at the beginner and advanced levels.

I instruct children and adult students on the principles and techniques of piano. This includes preparing them for concerts and music theory examinations up to grade 8 administered by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and Trinity’s graded music assessments. I develop a detailed curriculum for students of varying levels to increase their professional competency as pianists. I also monitor the progress of students through the creation of various self-instruction techniques, which include self-paced homework and online classes. Moreover, my duties include managing schedules and keeping the records of students’ improvement and updating parents about their children progress.

Your piano lessons will include:

+ developing your/your child's musicality using the ideas of the best teaching methodologies and philosophies by researchers such as Gordon & MLT, Kodaly, Suzuki, Katherine Fisher & Julie Knerr… + learning the selection of pieces of various genres of student and teacher's choice;
+ building up the fingers and hand techniques in a fun way of practising scales, arpeggios, broken chords and other exercises such as Hanon, Suzuki, ect.
+ music theory/ harmony (following the music theory books, exercises, informal tests, quizzes… );
+ developing your sight-reading skills;
+ developing your improvisational skills;
+ developing your composing skills;
+ improving your aural skills.
