friendly relaxed lessons for those wishing to play for pleasure in folk/traditional idiom… 20 years private teaching experience and workshop leader at major folk festivals. I am also a tutor book author and .experienced bandleader. Able to teach those wishing to play by ear as well as those who prefer to use written notation. Emphasis on instrumental technique rather than theory.

Lessons can be arranged at freqency to suit student and paid for one at a time'! Also availabae for goup tuition and workshops.

Tutoring Experience:

20 years experience of individual tuition and of providing workshops at major folk festivals
Experience of teaching aes from 14 to 80!
Author of tutor book - "DG Melodeon, a Crash Course for Beginners".

Tutoring Approach:

Relaxed friendly tuition for those wishing to learn to play for pleasusre with emphasis on instrumental technique rather than exams & grades

Lessons can be arranged at intervals to suite students requirements and paid for one at a time - i.e. no up front payment for 'term' required and no set frequency for lessons.
