Information About Geoff - Lechlade teacher

Personal Description:

Geoff has been playing bass for 33 years, the past fifteen of which have been as a member of the UK’s only professional Led Zeppelin tribute band, Whole Lotta Led. His musical career has covered a wide range of styles and he has performed over 1,600 gigs throughout the UK and Europe.

Geoff is now available to give one-to-one bass lessons in his purpose built home studio in
Lechlade, Gloucestershire.

Tutoring Experience:

Geoff’s experience also enables him to pass on useful tips such as rehearsing with a band or playing live etc. No equipment necessary as Geoff can supply an instrument for teaching purposes or if students just want to try some lessons before investing in their own equipment.

Tutoring Approach:

Geoff encourages students to bring along songs THEY want learn as opposed to being taught what
‘the teacher thinks they should learn’, using this method pupils should progress quicker and also maintain their interest in learning the instrument.

Most musical styles taught although Geoff’s main influences are rock/pop music.
