Personal Description:
I’ve studied in France and in London at the Royal College of music where I graduated with a bachelor and postgraduate degrees. As a classical musician I have played as a soloist and in many orchestras, quartets/trios and duets, as well as in rock bands, jazz trios and many more. I’ve embraced playing all kinds of music in concerts and recording sessions, and I encourage my students to explore various styles to add to their skills and versatility.
Tutoring Experience:
I started teaching when I was just 13 years old and I have built my experience through wonderful opportunities to teach in music schools in France. In London I started to build my reputation and taught in various courses like the NYOW and Oxford Cello school for many years, as well as organising my own courses of cello ensembles and masterclasses. Teaching is a vocation and a passion for me, after more than 20 years in the profession I’m still enjoying helping my students to find new ways to overcome musical challenges.
Tutoring Approach:
I’ve always tailored my approach and programme to my students’ goals and requests. Wether they want to aim for grade 8/ Diploma levels, NCO/NYO auditions or successfully preparing for scholarships for 11+ and 13+ students in various prestigious schools in and around London.
I teach with passion and patience, and I bring confidence to my students by teaching them efficient ways to practise and to enjoy their achievements.
