Personal Description:

Hello,

I am an experienced violin player with seventeen years of performance experience and have a professional ATCL Diploma.

Over the years, I have played in a number of high-profile orchestras including the National Children's Orchestra, Barbican Youth Orchestra and Wessex Youth Orchestra. I led Wellington College Symphony Orchestra and played in a conference in which HRH The Queen was present.

Tutoring Experience:

I have much experience with teaching children and recently ran a successful string ensemble based in China. Furthermore, my role of leader in orchestras required me to mentor younger children and help them develop into confident musicians.

Tutoring Approach:

I offer one-to-one lessons, usually half an hour in length (although I can teach 45 minu**Contact Detail Removed**ssons for more advanced students). Lessons are conducted in a relaxed and friendly environment, but students should expect to be stretched and be able to concentrate for the duration of the lesson.

Tuition will be based on exam syllabuses unless students would rather learn the violin casually.
