Personal Description:

Hello! My name is Francesca and I am a Music Teacher and Consultant teaching from the age 4 years plus in Piano, Guitar, Singing and Music Theory. I enjoy all types of music, although my favourites are Gospel, Neo-Soul and RnB. My favourite artists are Alicia Keys, India.Arie and Lauryn Hill. I am also an Arts Award Adviser which means I can train young people from the ages of 11-25 years old for Arts Qualifications. Please ask for more details on this.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing and film. I am a mother to two beautiful girls who I raise with my husband. That's me!

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching music for about 12 years now and own a Music School in East London. I moved to Northampton about 18 months ago and have decided to rebuild here.

I can prepare my students for graded exams, with ABRSM, Trinity and RGT examination boards. My students currently have a 100% pass rate in music exams, and some with Merit or Distinction.

Tutoring Approach:

Lessons can be tailored to your particular need. However, for beginners, I recommend 30 minute long lessons of 3 students per class. I teach at a venue in Abington, Northampton. Lessons are also available for siblings.

I make the lessons fun, approachable and easy to learn. I believe sight reading is key and so I teach this from the very beginning in a fun and easy to understand way. Depending on the students ability and level, the way I teach is different for each student, as I believe everyone learns differently. I also know that Music can help children with people develop other skills (cognition, learning, social, etc… ). I help students look at how music can help them grow and improve in their education and everyday life.

I teach basic Music Theory to each student. But you can also have Music Theory lessons for Grades 1-5.

I teach from Abington Community Centre ONLY.
