Personal Description:
I'm a graduate of Leeds Conservatoire, who first began playing the guitar over ten years ago. My personal approach to learning, playing and creating music is based around being openminded, individual and inquisitive. I received a First Class Honours in Jazz Performance at Leeds Conservatoire. I specialise in Jazz, Pop, RnB and Folk.
Tutoring Experience:
-1 year teaching part time as peripatetic guitar tutor in a primary school.
-2 years experience guitar teaching at kid's weekend music school.
-3 years experience guitar teaching private students of all ages.
Tutoring Approach:
My top priority with a new student is always to understand what they want from learning the guitar and then to let that guide my approach to our lessons. My experience of teaching has taught me a lot about altering my teaching to match a student's preferred learning style.
