Personal Description:

I have recently completed my own studies, receiving a First for my work across all modules covering a diverse mix of music technology and production fields, such as Studio Techniques, Studio Postproduction, Multi Channel Sound System Design, Auditory Perception and Music Cognition, Computer Music Systems and Audio Systems Technology to name but a few. I have produced work for a variety of clients and briefs, including both in studio and on location, and have worked from my own home studio setup for the last 3 years.

Tutoring Experience:

I am a recent graduate with an up to date knowledge of techniques and practices, and coming fresh from a rich learning environment I feel I am well placed to nurture your own skills and talents. I have worked with a variety of experience levels in music production environments, and am confident I can impart my knowledge to a variety of students, whatever your starting skill level or musical interests.

Tutoring Approach:

Firstly, my main priority is to work to your individual needs and provide a relaxed tutoring experience. You don't need to know absolutely everything about music technology and production in order to start producing quality music, so I will tailor lessons to each student so they can express themselves without cramming our sessions full of technical details. And if you are after technical details, I am happy to keep you topped up and teach you everything I know. I am happy to travel to you or for you to come to me, and I am flexible with teaching times and days - just get in touch and we can work something out.

I offer home studio and production tuition for casual/beginners through to intermedia**Contact Detail Removed**vel, helping you with everything you need to record music at home:

• Setting Up – Routing, Session Preparation
• Equipment – Choices and Budgeting
• Technique – From mic placement to mixing
• Digital Audio Workstations – Getting started, sequencing, producing your own music and demos etc

I can provide Logic and Pro Tools tuition as well, and can assist you with recording, mixing, mastering, on location work, etc.
